NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - OrganizedWisdom, an expert-driven platform for health and wellness, announced the appointment of former Chairman and CEO of Time Warner, Gerald (Jerry) Levin, to its Board of Directors. Levin joins OrganizedWisdom's current Board Members Steven Krein and Unity Stoakes, co-founders of OrganizedWisdom; Wayne Kimmel, Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital; and Jason Finger, co-founder of SeamlessWeb.

"OrganizedWisdom has a compelling vision for transforming health care and has a mission I personally believe in," Levin said. "We envision a tomorrow where we can bridge today's enormous 'Health Gap' by connecting people with health and wellness experts and their wisdom."
Levin has a long track record of innovation and has made an enormous impact on the media landscape. Prior to joining OrganizedWisdom, Levin served as the Chairman and CEO of media conglomerate, Time Warner, from 1992 through 2002, and helped develop the modern cable industry.
"As we've assembled our Board, it has been very important for us to gather partners with world-class experience in building transformative businesses and who also possess a passion for health and wellness," said OrganizedWisdom CEO and co-founder, Steven Krein. "We've been fortunate to bring together 'like-minded souls,' which is essential to our philosophy, and there is no one more emblematic of this approach than Jerry Levin."
